Hi, I’m Racquel.

I’m a biomedical engineer by training, and I bring a unique combination of technical expertise, education, storytelling, and lived experience to my work. After spending more than six years navigating my own fertility journey—including pregnancy loss, IVF, and the complexities of understanding treatment options and workplace benefits—I turned those experiences into a mission to make fertility information more accessible and advocacy more actionable.

Through Talk With Racquel, I create resources, conversations, and educational experiences that help people better understand their options, ask informed questions, advocate for themselves, and feel less alone throughout the process. My approach is informed by my

lived experience as a Black woman and a recognition that our experiences are not always adequately represented in fertility and reproductive health conversations. That perspective strengthens my commitment to creating education that is thoughtful, inclusive, and useful for anyone navigating family-building.

My professional career spans healthcare, education, technology, and coaching, with experience at organizations including Boston Scientific, OneGoal, Zendesk, and Sensible Medical Innovations. While the industries and roles have changed, the through line has remained the same: translating complex information, building trust, and helping people move forward with confidence.

My work is grounded in faith and shaped by both my professional expertise and personal experience. I bring honesty, practicality, and compassion to conversations about fertility, reproductive health, benefits literacy, and advocacy. Ultimately, my goal is to turn what I’ve learned—personally and professionally—into tools that help people feel more informed and empowered while encouraging organizations to create more meaningful systems of support.
